Privacy Policy

Alligent, a product of Sabar Technology ("we", "us"), helps creators turn long videos into short clips and carousels, and schedule and publish them to social platforms. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, and profile image when you sign up or sign in with Google.
• Connected social accounts — when you connect YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or LinkedIn, we store the access tokens those platforms issue so we can publish on your behalf. We never see or store your passwords for those platforms.
• Content you provide — videos you upload, generated clips, carousels, captions, titles and scheduling details.
• Usage data — basic logs needed to operate the service (e.g. when a post is scheduled or published, and errors).
• Billing information — your plan, credit balance and purchase history. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we receive a payment confirmation and customer reference, never your full card number.

How we use your information

• To provide the service: generate clips/carousels, store your media, and schedule and publish posts to the accounts you connect.
• To process your content with AI providers (for transcription, captions, titles, thumbnails and images).
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Google user data (YouTube)

When you connect your YouTube account, Alligent requests only the access needed to publish and manage the videos you choose:

• See your YouTube account details (youtube.readonly) — to show your channel, your videos and basic stats inside Alligent so you can choose where to publish and understand how content performs.
• Upload and manage videos on your behalf (youtube.upload, youtube.force-ssl) — to publish videos and set the titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails you approve, only when you ask us to.

We use this data solely to provide these features at your request. We do not use YouTube data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it except with the infrastructure providers needed to operate the service.

Limited Use. Alligent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your use of YouTube features within Alligent is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke Alligent's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or by disconnecting YouTube in Linked Accounts.

Third parties we share data with

We share only what's necessary to deliver the features you use:

• Social platforms — Google/YouTube, Meta (Instagram & Facebook), TikTok and LinkedIn, to publish the posts you schedule.
• AI processing — trusted third-party AI providers, to generate captions, thumbnails, images and transcripts from the content you submit for those features.
• Infrastructure — Cloudflare R2 (media storage), Neon (database) and Render (hosting).
• Payments — Stripe, to process subscription and credit purchases securely.
• Error monitoring — Sentry, to detect and fix crashes (your media is never sent there).

We do not sell your personal information.

Payments & billing

Subscriptions and credit top-ups are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details under its own privacy policy; Alligent never sees or stores your full card number. We keep records of your plan, credit balance, and transaction history for accounting, tax, and support purposes.

Data retention

Generated short clips auto-delete after 7 days to protect your privacy and keep storage lean. Your account data and connected-account tokens are kept until you delete your account or disconnect the account. You can disconnect any social account at any time in Linked Accounts.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, access tokens are stored on our servers and used only to perform actions you request, and access is authenticated and rate-limited.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, disconnect any connected platform, or request full account deletion by contacting us. Disconnecting a platform revokes our stored token for it.

Children

Alligent is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
